How may a HeartSine automatic external defibrillator save a life?

Health & Beauty

To save a life, you need to be prepared. This is true for the average person and even more so for a professional first responder. That’s why we created Heartsine Defibrillator. These devices are easy to use and can help you save someone’s life in an emergency situation. You might have seen them on TV or in airports, but do you know how they work? In this article, we’ll show you how to use one of our AEDs so that you can be ready if your family member ever needs CPR or if there is an emergency at work or school.

Rest your Arms

  • Rest your arms. Your hands are already doing a lot of work, and it’s important to get them some rest.
  • Place the paddles on the patient’s chest. The two paddles should be placed on either side of the patient’s chest, just below their armpits and close enough so that you can connect them with one another when you push them together.
  • Connect the pads to each other with the cables from each pad—the red pad goes to black and vice versa—and place them on opposite sides of their chest: left near the collarbone and right near ribs just above it.

Remove Shirt

Before you start, it’s important to remove your shirt and open the buttons of your pants. You will also have to remove any jewellery, glasses and hair accessories, as well as belts and shoes. The same goes for the person whose heart is in danger: they have to strip down before you begin CPR on them.

It’s also good practice to wash your hands thoroughly before hitting that big red button—you don’t want to transmit any germs or diseases that could trigger an allergic reaction or infection!

Apply Pad (HeartSine Defibrillator)

Step 1: Place the pad on the chest

Step 2: Make sure that the pad is on the right way and touching the skin

Step 3: Make sure that the pad isn’t touching hair or clothing. When it’s in place, you should be able to see a green light at its bottom, which indicates it’s working properly. You’ll also hear an audible signal if you have a HeartSine Defibrillator with sound capabilities enabled.

Now you can save someone’s life

You may be surprised how many lives you can save with your own AED. You can save the life of someone you know, a stranger, or even yourself. When it comes to medical emergencies, there is no such thing as luck. There’s only preparation and quick thinking—and if you’re prepared, then our AED training course will give you everything else that’s needed to handle any situation with confidence and ease.

Conclusion

The HeartSine AED is a tool that every community should have access to. It can save lives, and we believe it’s our responsibility as citizens of this world to make sure everyone knows what they are, how they work and where they can get one.
